Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Media, Communications and Cultural Studies (Global Digital Politics)

Permanent position: starts 1 September 2023 (or as soon as possible)

The Department of Media, Communications and Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London seeks to build on our 45 years of critical, creative and impactful research with the appointment of an experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Media, Communications and Cultural Studies. Applicants should have expertise in theories of digital media and global politics. In particular, we are looking for someone to contribute to our high-quality teaching and research in the Department around developments in, for example, social media, platform politics, digital democracy and political communications. Candidates should have a significant publications record, a clear plan for future research and grant capture and should be able to demonstrate familiarity with syllabus and curriculum design.
