Role Overview & Responsibilities
Reporting to:
The Apprenticeship Supervisor and Manager
Job purpose:
Conduct a wide range of marine electrical work in order to support production at Harland & Wolff.
What will you learn doing this apprenticeship:
- Gain hands-on experience through a safe workplace placement, providing vocational training and education.
- Practical on the job training.
- One-to-one dedicated mentoring.
- Shipyard training facilities.
- Opportunity to earn while you learn.
- You will attend college as timetabled
Responsibilities:
- Learn to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, and other relevant personnel, to ensure
that customer and business requirements are met.
- Develop the ability to maintain their own safety and that of others at work, ensuring a safe working environment and
prevention of damage to property and the wider environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a minimum a of GCSE grade C/4, National 5 (or Equivalent) in Mathematics, English and a Science
- Hold a Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations or a relevant field.
