Responsibilities

• To prepare and cook dishes from our cafe menu, including full English breakfast, muffins, pancakes to paninis, salads and jacket potatoes
• To undertake any catering task as directed by the Manager
• To complete any administration as requested including food temperatures, wastage, and cleaning schedules
• Must follow EHO guidlines to 5 star standard
• To ensure minimal wastage, implementing ideas for reducing waste wherever possible
• Assist in the effective management of stock and portion control
• Ensure all equipment is in a safe working order
• To ensure that the kitchen is maintained in a clean, organised manner and that all food safety and health and safety policies/procedures are followed
• To communicate to the team and clients in a polite manner
• To listen and forward any customer suggestions or complaints to the Line Manager
• To undertake washing up and cleaning as required

Experience

Applicants must have proven experience for this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £9.00-£11.00 per hour
