Lighting Technician
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Due to continued growth and development HTS is looking for a lighting technician to join our busy hire and production team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic. We are looking for a well-organised, focused and self-driven person, with a friendly outgoing personality, able to contribute to the team with creative ideas and thinking.
A good working knowledge of stage, and event lighting is essential. Applicants should also be confident in servicing and maintenance moving lights, have a good understanding of electrical safety and be well versed in either EOS or Titan. An understanding of rigging, video, audio, networking, temporary structures and power would be advantageous.
Reporting to the Operations Manager this is an opportunity for the right candidate to take a key role within the lighting department, working with our busy team of full-time staff and freelancers to design, prep and deliver a diverse range of projects within the performing arts and live events sector. There is excellent potential for training and personal development within the company.
The Role:
- Supporting the warehouse team to prepare lighting equipment for a diverse range of hire and production jobs.
- Maintaining, testing and servicing of hire equipment
- On-site work to deliver a a wide verity of shows and events of varying size and scope
- Assisting the project management team with design and planning
- Supporting customers and end users with technical queries and advice
- Being ambassador for the company brand in all aspects of their employment

Location: based out of Henley-on-Thames
Salary: Competitive, based on experience, overtime offered
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
