Management Accountant

As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for delivering the management accounts for the Benelux business alongside the Business Partner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for month end close for Netherlands and Belgium costs.
• P&L review with Line Manager
• Ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Monitoring all overheads and looking at ways to streamline and save money
• Support process improvements in existing processes
• Support the Benelux team with ad-hoc analysis
• Support the Benelux team on Budgets

Key Tasks:

• Monthly accruals and prepayment journals
• Monthly P&L review
• Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
• Process improvement

• Part qualified with some management accounts experience would be desirible.
• Strong management accounts foundation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset – determination to improve processes and overcome hurdles rather than expecting everything to work perfectly.
• A highly methodical and organised approach, with the ability to deliver processes to tight deadlines and influence others to do the same.
• Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel.
• Ability to work in a high pressured ever evolving environment.
• Ability to multi-task, manage several deliverables simultaneously, work independently and be extremely flexible in order to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
