HGV Class 2 (C) Driver – Casual – Peterborough (Dedicated Fleet)

Jack Richards is looking for a professional Class 2 driver to join a well-established, family-run national hauler.

Please be aware that this is a Casual role and there will be no guaranteed hours each week – you would work days, nights, and weekends, as per business requirements to cover driver holidays and rest periods.

You must hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (C) license, hold a UK digital tachograph card, and a full DQC (CPC card).

Preferred Experience: Curtainside Trailers, Building Supplies, and Ratchet Strapping.

Role involves:

• Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
• Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
• Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations

In return you will get:

• Weekdays £11.75 per hour, Weekends £13.25 per hour
• Plus Enhanced Rates after 10 hours: +£1.50 per hour
