Night Porter

We are a family run pub company and we're looking for a full-time Night Porter to join our team at The Marlborough in Dedham, Essex. We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and able to work overnight shifts.

As a Night Porter, your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the safety and security of our guests and the premises throughout the night.

Performing regular checks of the building and grounds, ensuring that everything is in order and reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.

Cleaning and tidying up after the evening service, ensuring that all areas of the pub are clean and ready for the next day.

Assisting with the delivery of goods and supplies, ensuring that everything is stored safely and securely.

Providing excellent customer service to any guests who may need assistance during the night.

Maintaining a clean and tidy appearance at all times, wearing the appropriate uniform and adhering to our company standards.

Providing support to the rest of the team as required, including assisting with early morning set-up and preparation for the days service.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You must also have excellent communication skills, a friendly and positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
