Night Shift Cleaning Team Leader

We are looking for relevant work experience, good level of English language, commitment to work in a night shift and good work references.

This is a 40 hours per week position with working hours from 22:00 to 07:00 (1h unpaid break) – Sunday night to Friday morning

Successful candidates can start immediately once job is offered and accepted.

Purpose: To lead the team of cleaning operatives and deliver excellence whilst exceeding customer expectations.

Duties:

1. Carry out walk-arounds and check areas on a daily basis.

2. Ensure all operatives deal with client, staff and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

3. Carry out housekeeping and periodic tasks as planned/required and assist to ensure all our services are delivered on each shift.

4. Ensure all jobs requested on day handover are completed to the highest standards and that a night handover emailed daily.

5. Ensure all periodic works are completed to the highest standards and on time.

6. Encourage cleaners on a daily basis in order to motivate and improve productivity.

7. Ensure all operatives deal with client, staff and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

8. Ensure cover cleaners are fully trained in site specification and site security etc.

9. Ensure all cleaners are wearing uniform, ID cards and suitable footwear.

10. Ensure store cupboards on site are clean and tidy.

11. Ensure colour coding is followed and adhered to.

12. Adhere to company policies, processes and procedures as well as health and safety regulations ensuring employees also follow these accordingly.

13.Adhere to client site protocols, processes, procedures and specific site instructions ensuring employees also follow these accordingly.

14. Ensure correct use of the Time & Attendance System

15. Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within your areas of responsibility in accordance with the current specifications of work.

16. Ensure Daily checks of the equipment and machines used during your hours of duty and report any defects to the Contract Manager. Return all equipment to allocated area at shift end.

17. Follow all health and safety policies and procedures of the company and report any dangers or hazards that you encounter to your Area Manager.
