English Teacher (Hourly Paid)

We are looking for two experienced and professional teachers who are keen to develop within the ELT field in a multi-cultural setting in Cambridge. The right candidate should be willing to teach a variety of levels and courses, such as Exam English Business Skills, and be confident in engaging with digital teaching tools and using different approaches.

Essential:

• 
  Celta or Trinity Cert TESOL
• A first degree
• Near native-like English
• Right to work in the UK
• Two years of experience teaching different levels
• Ability to lesson plan and define objectives

Desirable:

• 
  Experience with supporting students learning developing learner autonomy
• Sound understanding of the use of technology in learning

The Role:

You will be teaching groups of up to 15 students on a semi-intensive course of 15 hours a week or an intensive one of 21 hours a week, between the hours of 9:00 and 17:25.

There is an in-house course book, but you are free to supplement or follow the syllabus using your own materials. All classrooms have Smart Boards, and the course books are also in Smart Notebook format.

  Hourly rates are commensurate with experience but range from £16.50 to £19.55 plus holiday pay.
