Job Overview
We are looking for Stand Stewards to join the team to welcome customers. Your top priority is to ensure all our fans are in safe hands whilst visiting The Oval. You never know what a day might throw at you, so you will need to have the ability to work well under pressure.
General Duties
Having or working towards NVQ2 in spectator safety
Well presented, articulate, proactive and communicative
Fit and mobile
A good knowledge of the internal areas of the ground and stand they are assigned to
A good knowledge of amenities and further information points within the ground
A good knowledge of the Venue Evacuation Procedures and Safety Requirements

General Duties
- Provide information and assistance to members of the public and staff arriving at the Kia Oval
- Deliver the brand and feel of the event that is being staged – this will be briefed out in accordance with the type of fixture being staged
- Ticket checks on those people entering their area of responsibility to ensure that area capacities are adhered to and prevent stadium bowl migration. Should a ticket not be for your area of responsibility you are to redirect them accordingly
- Assist with the evacuation of the venue and direct guests to the relevant holding areas as directed by their supervisor
- They will remain in designated positions until relieved by their nominated replacement.
