Pharmacy Assistant (Saturdays)

Saturday Pharmacy Assistant(s) required for our busy branch's in Cotteridge and Weoley Castle, South Birmingham.

Kings Pharmacies is a small independently owned group of pharmacies based in South Birmingham. Customer satisfaction is the company's guiding ethos. The pharmacies strive to offer a more clinical offering than is normally available in a high street pharmacy. Our team of healthcare assistants and pharmacists are available to customers for healthcare advice and to provide direction for those in need of more help.

We have an opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic Saturday Assistant's based at our Cotteridge and Weoley Castle branches.

Skills and experience

• Preference given to those studying Pharmacy at degree level or those intending to enter a science/healthcare future career however this is not essential.
• You will have excellent customer service skills and will be comfortable providing friendly advice to patients and making over the counter medicine sales (training provided)
• Calmness in a busy environment.
• A good telephone manner.
• You will help ensure that the shelves are well stocked and that the store is well presented.
• Receptionist or retail experience required.
• Community pharmacy experience preferred, training can be provided.
• Must be willing to undertake and complete Medicine counter assistants course.
• Working hours will be 9am to 4 pm. Flexibility to work extra hours during weekdays to cover colleague holidays/sickness would be preferred (Please indicate if you are able to and if there are any restrictions)
