Manufacturing Process Operator

Lakeland Cosmetics have an exciting opportunity due to expansion for a Bulk Manufacturing Operator to join our team based in Workington, Cumbria.

Lakeland Cosmetics are an innovative UK based cosmetics manufacturer, specialising in our own brands and bespoke product development and formulations.

For over a decade, we have been creating some of the most well-known cosmetics and pet care products in the UK.

Job Duties

• Working in a hygienic manufacturing environment, weighing out raw ingredients
• Manufacturing gels, shampoos, emulsions, and various cosmetics products following set methods and specification to quantities of 50kg – 3000 kg
• Ensuring strict hygiene, housekeeping, protocols, company rules and procedures are being met
• Creating and building work orders on company’s systems
• Working in a strictly controlled quality environment

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills to follow strict instructions and communicate with colleagues
• High level of attention to detail
• Computer literate
• Good statistical and numerical ability

Salary dependant on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
