Summary
The Governors of Our Lady and St. Gerard's Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 teaching assistant. We are looking for staff who are committed to providing a happy, caring learning environment where children are encouraged to achieve their full potential. We would like to appoint a TA who has a nurturing and supporting approach and values all the unique talents of our children.

The TA will be required to support within the classroom and lead intervention sessions. They will also be required to provide some cover for PPA time during the week. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant you will take a key role in the supervision of children during the lunch time, ensuring that children have access to high quality playground activities.

Essential Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or above (appropriate to the post) or equivalent. - 5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English and Maths<
Desirable Qualifications
Evidence of 'A' Levels, BTEC or higher level qualifications.
Essential Experience

Experience of working with or caring for children across both KS1 and KS2.

Experience of working in a classroom environment.

Experience of following and adapting planning and delivering sessions to the whole class.

Experience of delivering a range of intervention programmes and maintaining pupil records

Experience of working with children with a range of additional needs.

Desirable Experience

Experience of working in a faith school.

Experience of organising and leading playground activities.

Experience of using restorative approaches to behaviour management.
