Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join the team at Lanelay Hall Hotel & Spa.

After undergoing an extensive renovation in 2017, Lanelay Hall Hotel & tRiBe Spa is a beautiful, unique hotel in the heart of South Wales. With our luxury facilities and distinctive features, we strive to create the ultimate experience for our guests. Located in Pontyclun, we are just a short distance from Cardiff.

We have 19 bedrooms, a busy restaurant, bar, fantastic function Suites & tRiBe Spa.

As a member of the Housekeeping team you will play a key part in creating exquisite experiences, memorable moments and personal journeys for our guests.

Housekeeper Job Duties

• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Making beds and changing linens
• Washing windows
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
• Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
• Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
• Steaming and cleaning draperies
• Washing blinds
• Tidying up rooms
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £9.50 per hour
