Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for carers who want to help our clients to live life to the full. Carers must live in Leicestershire (not Leicester City).
Shared Lives Carers provide long-term and short breaks social care placements in their own homes to support people from the age of 18, with learning disabilities, mental health, autism and Asperger’s, physical disabilities, sensory impairment or who are living with dementia and older people or who have lifelong disabilities who need personal care support in a homely environment.
As a Shared Lives Carer, you will be self-employed. We will send you referrals of clients which you can choose to accept or decline as you wish. You can look after a maximum of three clients at a time
As a self-employed carer, you work from your own home, choose your own hours and receive generous income tax incentives.
