Role Overview & Responsibilities
Life has an exciting opportunity for a creative, versatile and experienced communications professional to develop and implement communications plans that support our charitable purpose, increase brand awareness and audience engagement - and crucially, drive footfall to the science centre. An ability to create compelling copy for a variety of audiences, is essential. Whether writing for funders and stakeholders; visitors to the science centre and educationalists, you will be equally at home creating copy that’s engaging, impactful and audience appropriate. You will have a solid understanding of media relations and an appreciation of what makes a compelling story that will get attention.
You would join a small, passionate marketing and communications team to make a big difference. Audience focussed, flexible, energetic and brimming with ideas, you will be a self-starter and a team player with a strong creative flair and a positive attitude. We are looking for someone with an analytical and inquiring mind, combined with the aptitude to build successful relationships and partnerships at all levels.
