Role Overview & Responsibilities

Due to the expansion of the School Flu programme in 2023/24 the School Age Immunisation Service is looking for enthusiastic and motivated support workers to assist in the delivery of the seasonal flu programme in Schools.

If you are passionate about making a positive difference to the long term health of children and young people of Lincolnshire then this is the job for you.

We are offering a number of bank and temporary posts to deliver the flu programme across Lincolnshire schools between September 2023 and December 2023

Due to the expansion of the seasonal Flu programme, you will be trained and competency assessed to deliver the nasal flu vaccine to children under the direct supervision of a registered nurse/practitioner

This post requires that you have the ability to travel between locations to carry out your work and to attend training and meetings; daily access to transport is therefore essential.

At LCHS, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in LCHS’ workforce.

LCHS recognises the increasing demand for more flexibility in working practices in order to accommodate the personal goals and commitments that employees experience at different stages during their working lives. We are an ambassador of a learning culture that will support the right individual to progress in their chosen career through an ‘earn while you learn’ apprenticeship programme.
