The Company - Production Operative
Our Client are a unique blend, with a 10 year-old presence in Fradley Park, Lichfield, a pioneering company with ambitions to grow and share their passion. Following a decade of ongoing investment and development they are looking for Production Operatives and Machine Operators to join their team offering excellent salary of £31,891.20 per annum.
Job Specification - Production Operative
- To be aware of products to be run at the start of each shift and ensure the correct labels are available.
- To ensure specification sheet is followed at all times.
- Ensure all bottling is conducted in accordance with Company hygiene requirements.
- Feed all line equipment with required materials.
- Participate in line equipment changes as required.
- Identify and rectify basic faults.
- Ensure that the bottling equipment is maintained; feed machines with materials and undertake changeover for new SKUs.
- Highlight any consumable shortages to avoid unnecessary downtime.
- Ensure daily production programme is completed in the most efficient or priority order and react to any changes in the programme.
- To assist in the training of other colleagues.
The ideal candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable although training is provided
- Self-motivated, dedicated, resourceful, adaptable and flexible
- Team player with good communication
- Punctual
- Possess a good level of literacy and numeracy
- Ability to work 12-hour Day and Night shifts (0500-1700 / 1700-0500) 3 on 3 off basis
The Benefits - Production Operative
- Salary equivalent £31,891.20 with OTE up to £40,000 per annum
- Saturday and 4th shift paid £16.50 Days and £18.70 Nights
- Sunday shift paid at £22.00 Days and £24.20 Nights
