Role Overview & Responsibilities
We have two open positions for: Trainee Welder & Welder Fabricator
Trainee Welder
Basic Mig Welding of gates, handrails & stair treads, working alongside an experienced fabricators. This role is both workshop and site based.
Immediate start , salary depending on experience.
Basic 40-hour week Mon-Fri Overtime available. Weekend work may be required.
Holidays are 20 days per year plus Bank Holidays.
Your Duties:
- Cutting & drilling materials.
- Basic fabrication
- Mig Welding
- Prepping and finishing of materials prior to paint/ galv.
- Working as a team and independently.
- Site work will be required to help install items that have been built.
Ideal candidate
- 1 year experience in Mig welding ( preferred but not required).
- Candidate must have a positive working attitude and show a keen interest to learn and attention to detail. The role would suit a person who enjoys practical skill learning.
- Previous experience in an engineering environment or who has completed an engineering college course/engineering apprenticeship and wishes to enhance or build on their experience in this field.
Welder / Fabricator
This role consists in Fabricating general steelwork, bespoke staircases ,handrails, Balcony's and gates. This role is both workshop and site based.

Your duties
- Working from detailed CAD drawings.
- Cutting, drilling , bending materials.
- MIG welding.
- Working as a team and independent.
- Installing finished items on sites at various locations.
Ideal candidate
- Minimum of 5 year's experience.
- Able to work to high standards.
- Experience in MIG & TIG welding.
- CSCS card.
- Driver's licence .
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour
