Warehouse and Second Man

Job Title: Warehouse / Quality Control Reports To: Distribution Manager

Objectives of the Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative and Second Man who has an eye for detail and excellent attendance. You will be helping the distribution team to ensure that all customer orders are picked and double checked for accuracy. The role will also include wrapping orders and assisting with the loading process. On certain days you may be required to go out as a second man on our fleet of delivery vehice. This is a varied roll that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a can do attitude.

· Adhering to good practice within the warehouse.

· Responsible for correctly picking orders and placing in the correct location for deliveries

· Always being aware of possible stock shortages and informing the warehouse Supervisors or the managers so that they can be ordered

· Assist in the monthly stock takes and put away process

· Assist with stock audits on a weekly basis

· Filling out the correct information on the out of date list, damaged stock list (write off sheet), and fork lift and pedestrian truck records

· Ensure that you follow the correct health and safety procedures

· Flexible approach to working

· Assisting drivers as mate (2nd man) as an when required

Knowledge and Experience:

· Good team work skills

· Good communication skills

· Good product knowledge

· Flexi FLT licence is an advantage
