Telecom UG Installer
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are on the lookout for an experienced UG Installer
Or a ready made cabling team.
Also accepting trainees.
The Cabling/Test Rod & Rope engineers main responsibility will be to test rod and rope, installation of cables, sub duct both underground and overhead.
- Test Rod & Roping
- Proving the PIA network
- Pull in sub duct & cable in PIA UG networks
- locating blockages & updating required systems with box to box
- Producing A55s Requirements:
- Experience of Test Rod & Roping / cabling the Openreach network
- PIA network experience
- Installation of cables, sub duct UG
- Installation of fibre nodes UG
- Locate blockages and establish clear routes
- Produce A55’s in consultation with the main Surveyor
- Completion and submission of all necessary documentation
- Compliance with all Health, Safety, Quality Control & Environmental policies
- Civils avoidance experience
- PIA accreditation desirable although upskilling will be provided for suitable candidates

Experience & Skills required:
- Full Driving License that permits you to drive a vehicle in the UK
- Hold a valid NRSWA street works operative unit 2 card
- Confident at works in an ungerground network
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £150.00-£200.00 per day
