Waiter/Server

SENIOR / EXPERIENCED SERVER / SERVER (UP TO £15 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE / PERFORMANCE: ONLY FULL TIME AVAILABILITY.

MANTECA is looking for a strong / experienced server/server, on a full-time basis, for its Shoreditch restaurant. While we hire on attitude mainly, experience in a similar capacity would be hugely beneficial.

We are a busy restaurant, so energy and a solid attitude are crucial for this role. Training is provided and there are development opportunities available within the company for those who show initiative.

We are now recruiting for an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable individuals who can thrive off a busy service and drive the front of house team. We are looking for a senior server/server who can add depth to the restaurant, lead the front of house team and grow with the business. A passion for food and wine is crucial for this role, with Manteca really celebrating great produce and cooking techniques along with bio-dynamic, natural and low intervention wines.

Duties:

• Greeting and seating customers
• Taking orders for food and drink
• Serving food
• Serving alcohol
• Cleaning and resetting tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware as needed
• Answering phone calls
• Preparing cheques and processing payments
• Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitising, sweeping floors, washing dishes, etc.
• Reconciling daily cash transactions
