Role Overview & Responsibilities
Planning and Implementing Marketing Strategy
- Checking over and inputting on the existing marketing plan alongside our PR agency
- Overseeing and leading on the implementation of the marketing plan
- Management of the marketing budgets, with full control of the marketing spend
- Appointment and management of the agency and freelance marketing team (ie PR agencies, digital marketing agencies, web developers, designers, photographers)
- Organise and oversee major announcements, ensuring that all possible channels are used to support them in a timely fashion with the correct assets
- Co-planning and implementation of marketing events and stunts, both formal and guerrilla
- Procurement and distribution of marketing materials
- Managing the print advertising, flyering and postering campaigns London centric
Content and Artwork
- Managing the creation of marketing content, using every opportunity the venue provides to capture and create strong creative content
- Managing the creation of marketing artwork for digital and print marketing activities - whether designed internally or externally
- Managing the distribution of marketing artwork and copy through emails
- Syndicating marketing content with appropriate partners and press
- Working alongside our traders to share their story
Managing MP Channels
- Plan content for channels to support the overarching marketing plan.
- Manage website content and conversion optimization.
- Compiling and copywriting public and internal mailouts as part of the marketing plan.
- Responding to all complaints, congratulations and questions via emails and social
- Managing our website, ensuring it's up to date with our current ventures.
Managing Third Party Marketing Channels
- Build relationships with new third party marketing channels (artists, collectives, activity leaders, collaborators, media partners, ticketers, venues, pubs, shops, record shops, record labels, friends, local businesses)
- Manage new and existing third party marketing channels - DesignMyNight, Tripadvisor etc.
Data Management
- Setting up goal tracking and other data collection for suitable ROI analysis on marketing spends.
- Mailing list and social network data collection, collation and analysis to tell us about our guests.
Press Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain good relationships with key publications and journalists and invite them to cover new announcements and events.
- Management of creating stories, briefing and approving press releases.
Brand Responsibilities
- Ensuring our venue and our partners' brands are always used within the brand guidelines and protecting it from misuse or misrepresentation.
Managing Internal Communications
- Compile monthly and yearly marketing and sales reports for the festival directors
- Compile monthly internal newsletters
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
