Role Overview & Responsibilities
Are you a chef or cook and not wanting to work the evening or weekends? Better still, do you want Bank holidays off too? If you have answered yes, then read about this new opportunity below.
Our client, a charity based in Yeovil, require a Chef or Cook to join their team on a full time permanent basis to work Monday to Friday either 730am-230pm or 730am-330pm.
The role is extremely rewarding as you will be preparing and cooking hot meals for the local community so that people of Yeovil and the surrounding areas do not go hungry particularly during this time when the cost of living is high and people are struggling.
You will be cooking meals which are then made up in a box and transported to people in their own homes. You will be preparing and cooking a range of meals depending on the ingredients and customer requirement and making a real difference to someones life.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a kitchen, preparing and cooking food and have a real desire to provide a service to the community and support the local people.
We cannot stress how rewarding this role is!
You will be working either 730am-230pm or 730am-330pm (depending on when you would like to finish) and the service only runs Monday-Friday (SO NO WEEKEND WORK OR LATE NIGHTS ANYMORE!)
In return they are offering a salary of between £25,480-£29,120 per annum depending on the hours you would like to work.
