THE JOB ROLE
Overall Purpose and Aims of the Job
- Operate/re-cycle an injection moulding machine.
- To effectively inspect and pack good parts from the moulding machine.
- Ensuring that all work instructions are adhered to, all documentation is correctly completed.
Key Tasks:
- To operate an injection moulding machine in semi-automatic, or automatic mode.
- To remove plastic parts from the machine/or mould and visually inspect the parts for any visual defects.
- Follow the relevant work instructions to ensure part quality targets are adhered to.
- Follow re-work guidelines where relevant, part trimming etc...
- Inform the Shift supervisor if part quality is away from the first off standard, and if any process is away from the work instruction.
- Pack the parts as per the packing specification for each part.
- Be flexible to help out on other areas of the business if required.
- Ensure the work area is in a clean and tidy condition, before, during and after the shift.
Hours:
There are 3 fixed shifts available you don't have to rotate.
6am-2pm
2pm-10pm
10pm-6am
Pay:
- £10.42
Job Type: Full-time
