Warehouse Assistant
Role Overview & Responsibilities
MAX Eyewear is an optical wholesaler based in South West London, supplying customers in 70+ countries. Our online department is steadily growing with more customers moving to online ordering and we are looking for an energetic warehouse assistant to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of our orders.
This role will involve:
- Picking orders from customer order sheets
- Packing orders efficiently and robustly to ensure a smooth transportation and successful delivery from warehouse to courier to customer
- Restocking day to day
- Checking in inventory from suppliers
- Reporting returns and damages or missing inventory
- Complying with all aspects of Health and Safety in the warehouse environment
- Assisting in the admin area when the warehouse department is quiet
Our Ideal Packing and Dispatch Warehouse Assistant:
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, but not required
- To be highly organised as this role is fast-paced
- Ability to work well under pressure and to follow strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- IT literacy and confidence in using/willingness to learn how to use fulfilment systems.
Working hours: 08:30-17:00, Mon-Fri
Permanent position & immediately available
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.50-£12.50 per hour
