Senior Care Assistant
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Senior care assistant to lead a team of carers looking after dementia residents. NVQ in Health and Social care needed and medication trained. Alternative weekends, shift pattern is 10pm.-8am. Good communication skills needed, to work along side manager and deputy.
Hourly Rate Rising to £10.90 1 April 2023
Enhanced DBS which will be paid for by company, 2 References 0ne must be from last employer, uniform provided.
Covid vaccines preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: Up to £10.06 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Night shift
COVID-19 considerations:
Masks to be when providing personal care and gloves and aprons when providing care,
strict infection controls procedures to be followed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Seaham, SR7 7NG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
- providing care: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (required)
