Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Art Therapist is a member of the multi-disciplinary team responsible for accepting, prioritising and assessing referrals to the Service and offering specific psychotherapeutic interventions in the form of art therapy to service users in the geographical area of Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin adult and inpatient mental health services. This involvesindividual, and group Art Psychotherapy work, along with other Psycho-Educational groups as required. This can entail the role of case holder. They will be a senior clinical member of the Multidisciplinary Team, playing a key role in promoting and providing high quality Art psychotherapy treatment to people with a diagnosis of psychosis.
