Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Purpose: The Counter Sales Representative will be responsible for providing a high level of service to customers while achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets. They will also act as a liaison between customers and relevant departments.
Salary - £13.98 per hour
Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Job Duties:
- Liaise efficiently with other departments to ensure customers receive the highest level of service
- Receive and complete quotations and sales orders for both counter and contract customers
- Handle customer queries in a professional manner
- Help develop and grow the customer base
- Provide regular reports and feedback to management
- Arrange delivery and collection of products
- Manage any Counter or Contract warranty issues/claims
- Undertake filing activities on a regular basis
- Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as requested
Requirements/Experience/Competence/Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Positive attitude towards work and company objectives
- Strong negotiating skills
- Willingness to travel
- Technical awareness and knowledge of products and services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident demeanour
- Valid driving license.
