Moody’s Analytics provides financial intelligence and analytical tools supporting our clients’ growth, efficiency and risk management objectives. The combination of our unparalleled expertise in risk, expansive information resources, and innovative application of technology, helps today’s business leaders confidently navigate an evolving marketplace.
The regulatory solutions product management team oversees the evolution and development of our award-winning software solutions (RiskAuthority and Banking Cloud). These solutions provide regulatory capital calculations for banks following the Final Basel III rules for credit risk, market risk and operational risk.

Overview of role/responsibilities for the intern
Within our product management team, you will participate in the Moody’s Analytics Basel Regulatory Capital solution lifecycle and contribute to the development of our solutions.

Your project could be related to one of these technical and/or functional activities:
  • Analyze specific regulatory requirements (Basel III, CRR2, MAS 637…), discuss and design new calculation functionalities around those requirements
  • Enhance the data lineage solution: provide regulatory references
  • Banking supervisor information: update supervisory data information (min regulatory requirements and buffers)
  • Contribute to the software release (analysis, specification writing, testing, configuration)
  • Participate in regression testing and End-to-End testing activities (unitary testing, results and reports analysis, bug identification and correction)
  • Actively participate in enhancing our knowledge database (e.g. documentation review, development of “how-to” entries, etc.)
