Job Description

The Index and Structured E-Trading Practice Area is hiring for an integration role, preferably with experience in a Front-Office Sales & Trading environment to join its global team. A successful candidate will have system integration experience, balanced with development experience in other technologies such as SQL, XML/SOAP, python, etc. We are most interested in people who have thorough understanding of the flows in their area of business expertise and are eager to learn. Good communication is also critical.

Responsibilities

    Management of the QA and production plant.
    Requirements gathering and validation from the business unit.
    Working with the team's developers to build new business critical functionality/production bug fixes.
    Configuration, testing and deployment of changes.
    Interfacing with other tech, ops teams and projects team to facilitate end-to-end testing.

    Working with the L1/L2 application support teams and providing L3 support when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

    3+ years relevant working experience.
    Worked with Linux based distributed systems.
    Solid linux user skills.
    Shell script/Python skills.
    Good communication skills.

    Good teamplayer/contributor.


Desired:

    Financial technology experience.
    Understanding of the FIX protocol.
    Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP)
    Basic understanding of C++ or another object-oriented programming language

    Database technologies such as SQL
