Job Description
Fly-tipping Action Wales (FtAW) is a Welsh Government sponsored initiative that aims to eliminate fly-tipping throughout Wales, working collaboratively with over 50 partner organisations.
Our work includes a range of projects that help us better understand the problem, raise awareness, and support partners’ in preventing and enforcing against fly-tipping.
The main focus of this role will be the enforcement areas of our work plan. You will be responsible for taking forward enforcement action in relation to fly-tipping offences occurring on the Welsh Government Woodland Estate (WGWE) that is managed by Natural Resources Wales. You will also offer enforcement and intelligence sharing support to our partners such as Local Authorities as well as helping to deliver various enforcement related areas of work within our work plan.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about tackling fly-tipping in Wales and who have a keen interest in taking forward enforcement action using a partnership working approach.
Driving Licence required.
Knowledge and experience of the following:
Knowledge and experience of working as a regulator.
Understanding of commercial business processes and pressures.
Ability to communicate effectively with regulated business and the public, explaining issues and gaining support by influencing.
