Trainee Network Cabling Engineer
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Tasks will include but not be limited to:
· Laying/installing/terminating mainly Cat5e, Cat6 and fibre cables
· Installing and configuring a range of hardware including 4G/5G routers
· Installing and configuring WAPs
· Installing and configuring security cameras and associated devices
· Assisting with the provision of technical support to a broad range of clients by telephone, email, remote desktop control or site visit - sometimes outside ‘normal’ working hours.
· Assisting with the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of problems associated with CCTV, 4G/5G routers, VOIP, networks, computers, firewalls, peripherals and software.
· Testing work upon completion.
Based at Chelmsford and Romford (own warehouse and parking)
Work ranges from domestic installations to commercial multi-storey buildings
Ideally able to drive
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £12,600.00-£18,000.00 per year
