Digital Marketer Level 3 Apprentice
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for two digital marketing apprentices to join our marketing and print business. You will learn transferable industry relevant skills to use within your daily job while developing an understanding of either:
Graphic Design & Pre-Press
OR
Post-Press and Manufacturing
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Growing the companies digital presence
- Creating posts on social media channels
- Developing marketing initiatives and live campaigns
- Collaborating with PPC and SEO companies
- Develop knowledge and understanding of pre-press process
- Creating print-ready artwork OR working in the post-press department and finishing prints
- Creating designs to customers' bespoke requirements
- Mentoring from experienced designers
Working hours: 9am – 5:30pm
Based in Portishead Harbour Road Trading Estate.
Start date: as soon as possible ideally June/July.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Next Level will work closely with you to complete your Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship.
During this 16-month apprenticeship, you will work alongside a dedicated team member, mirroring them and assisting where necessary. You will also undergo on-the-job training to better understand your daily tasks, including research and written projects. All on-the-job training will take place in-house, weekly, within your set working hours.
You will get regular workshops, specific 1-2-1 tutoring and reviews between you tutor, manager and yourself to ensure you are meeting deadlines and staying on top of your work.
There will be an End Point Assessment (EPA) that you will be working towards throughout your apprenticeship, this includes:
- Digital Marketing Business Principles
- Principles of Online & Offline Marketing
- Principles of Coding
- Advanced Level Certificate on Google Analytics
- Live marketing campaigns portfolio
- Synoptic project (defined by City & Guilds)
- Employer reference & an interview with an EPAO
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
We would be looking to keep successful apprentices employed within Handy Brand, either as a qualified Digital Marketer or Artworker or Post-Press Manufacturing.
Once employed with us for a year, you will become part of our Employee Ownership Trust. This allows you to share ownership of a percentage of our business and its profits.

- Keen eye for detail
- Good English & maths grades at GCSE (anything above a C/4)
- Knowledge and use of Adobe software such as Photoshop or Illustrator
