Role Overview & Responsibilities
Freedom's Networks team have a vacancy for an experienced Project Manager. The main purpose of this role is to manage a team to achieve delivery of New connection works to time, safety regulations, quality standards and project specification. To manage and deliver the Connections workstream within UKPN.
The role reports to the Operations Manager and will cover the EPN region of the UKPN electricity distribution network.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and will cover the EPN region of the UKPN electricity distribution network.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple/major projects safely, competently and effectively to time and budget;
- Manage and Deliver New Connection Works in line with contract expectations.
- Project delivery & co-ordination with wider Networks team
- Outage and work planning
- Incidents and escalations
- Performance of site teams and suppliers
- Ensure Client satisfaction and contract KPIs are met/exceeded.
- SHEQ and Safety rule compliance - Zero Harm.
- People management, Retention and development
- Financial planning and Forecasting to Ops Manager.
- To embed the mission statement and core values into the business and manage the business in such a way to ensure these are integral to all activities.
- Ensure that Network’s operation is a fully effective customer focussed organisation.
- Minimum of 5yrs Experience in within the Electrical sector of the Utility Industry
- ONC or equivalent Qualification in Electrical Engineering - Desirable
- DNO relationship management experience
- Extensive understanding of DNO requirements and specifications
- NEBOSH/SMSTS Level Safety accreditation
- Full Driving Licence
- First Aid & Manual Handling - Desirable
- DNO Authorisations - Desirable
