Role Overview & Responsibilities
Experienced Delivery Drivers with good customer care skills required to work in busy depot in Oxford, performing deliveries to Hospitals in the local area. As a vital member of our team operating a 24/7 service you will be providing a safe and professional service, collecting and delivering blood products, equipment and staff to hospitals, blood centers and blood collection sites throughout the country. This could include emergency blue light deliveries. Were looking for an experienced driver holding a full UK driving license. This must include C1 or C category, permitting you to drive vehicles up to and preferably including 7.5 tonnes. You should also be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and have experience of dealing professionally with members of the public. You will be required to work evenings, weekends, nights and bank holidays on a 24/7 roster. A uniform will be provided, and you will be given an induction, training and development opportunities. This post also offers an attractive shift allowance/unsociable hours payment on top of the basic salary.
