Role Overview & Responsibilities
The shift pattern for this position is 24/7 shifts at Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
Biomedical Scientists provide the core technical staffing for the Department. They work individually and as a team to analyse and validate a broad range of specialist and routine laboratory diagnostic investigations in Haematology/Blood Transfusion. They provide 24/7 shifts to maintain services and lone work at present for 50% of this rota. The post requires a BSc in Biomedical Science plus HCPC registration.
