Role Overview & Responsibilities
Norbar Torque Tools Ltd., the world's leading torque tool manufacturer, is looking for a Production Operative to assemble precision components in small batch sizes within our Electronics Department.
Primarily, duties consist of the assembly and testing of electronic products. This will include soldering of components, PCB's and connecting leads. Additional tasks include the abrading and cleaning of a variety of transducers with the use of mechanical-assisted lifting equipment before stain gauge application.
Experience in a precision assembly environment is essential, as is attention to detail.
Experience in electronic assembly, soldering of components and PC literacy would be a distinct advantage, although not essential as full training will be given.
In return for a 38½ hour week, we can offer a starting hourly rate of £13.46, depending on experience.
