Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Specialist Stop Smoking Service for Stockton on Tees is seeking to recruit a Stop Smoking Facilitator to work within our service.
We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to work within the Team, providing behavioural change advice and facilitate voucher prescribing treatment to smokers. As a key staff member the successful candidate will be passionate about improving health outcomes for the residents of Stockton. This includes raising the profile of, and facilitating access to stop smoking provision in key settings and improving referral pathways into stop smoking provision.
Although previous experience of community-based health improvement initiatives would be helpful, training and support will be offered if required.
The successful candidate must be able to work occasional late evenings and some Saturday mornings.
