This post is available for a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Diabetes and Endocrinology and Acute General Medicine based at Northampton General Hospital.
This post starts 2nd August and is available for a year with potential to extend. It replaces our current SCF who has been appointed to Higher Specialist Training in this specialty.
The appointee will work across all aspects of Diabetes and Endocrinology a nd will also take part in the 1 in 20 on call rota for Acute General Medicine.
This post is suitable for doctors wishing to pursue a career in Diabetes and Endocrinology and wish to gain further experience in the speciality before starting Higher Specialist Training. Northampton General Hospital has an excellent reputation for training junior doctors and a long tradition of our trainee doctors eventually taking up Consultant posts with us. We also have a very high success rate in our Clinical Fellows achieving appointment to their chosen training programmes.
