Freelance Event Crew

Join our team of energetic, professional, customer-focused event crew and help us provide our clients with amazing experiences. Off Limits have been providing outstanding corporate events for nearly 30 years. This year our mission is to help workforces across the UK reconnect with their colleagues and clients through confidence-boosting team building events and breath-taking themed parties! As a member of our event crew, you will be responsible for ensuring everyone on our events has a safe experience and leaves with a smile!

Event Crew will report to our HQ in Langley Mill (Nottingham). You will travel to one of our venues in a company vehicle then set-up, safely deliver the event, responsibly pack away and then travel back to our HQ. Throughout the day you will be required to follow the directions of your Event Manager whilst instructing on our numerous activities. You must hold a full UK driving license as you will be required to drive our company vehicles.

Our events are extremely varied, and no two days will be the same. We provide every kind of event-from our ‘Totally Wiped Out’ games and motorised activity days to our casino evenings, we have it all! At times physical hard work and long hours will be needed, and we do expect our crew to be reliable, punctual, and well organised. Full training will be given, and we provide mentoring and support to those individuals who would like to progress towards a permanent career within the events industry. Our rates of pay range from £130 a day minimum on a SELF-EMPLOYED basis. Dependent on skill set and experience, higher pay will be offered. After each job, an invoice will be created by our intranet system and be paid 14-17 days after you accept your invoice.

Able to think quickly and adapt to challenging situations.
Excellent communication skills.
Driving licence and previous experience driving long wheelbase vans.

Desirable Skills:
Event crew experience.
Previous outdoor instructor training and/or qualifications.
Previous experience with theming/ fun casinos/ indoor events.
Experience working in a customer facing role.
