Research Officer
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a detail-driven individual to conduct high-quality research to support and inform the Police and Crime Commissioner’s standards, scrutiny and accountability programme.
As the Research Officer you will retrieve, record and evaluate data relating to Cleveland Police’s performance and also play an integral part within the team, providing information on internal performance measures.
Your research will be used by the PCC to hold Cleveland Police to account on key issues that matter to the communities of Cleveland.
The ideal candidate will feel confident in conducting research on a wide range of topics, many of which may be high-profile issues affecting policing and the wider criminal justice system.
Along with your keen eye for detail you will have experience in analysing and interpreting key performance information and government legislation, producing accurate reports and briefings in a range of formats for a wide variety of audiences.
