Yard Operative

Working within our purpose-built factory in Middlesbrough you will be responsible for keeping the yard clear and organised to a high standard of professionalism. Start times are between 6-8am and finish times depend on production volumes.

This is a very hands-on and manual job, working in ambient, chilled and freezer conditions. FLT experience is essential and all candidates must be computer literate.

Key Responsibilities of the job-

• General cleanliness and organisation of the yard area
• Responsible for the correct disposal of waste
• Loading and unloading
• Adhering all correct PPE and company safety procedures

Key Skills:

• FLT experience is essential and an up-to-date licence is preferred but training can be given
• Experience of working in a food environment is advantageous, however full training will be given
• Candidates must be flexible, hard-working and possess a positive attitude to work
• Candidates should be able to get to work for a 6am – 8am start, including weekends and Bank Holidays
