Bakery/Store Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual for a part time 16 hrs + overtime bakery/retail position at our Nisa store in Ballingry. The position is initially for 16+ hours, however there is the potential for a full time position.

The hours we require you to work will include evenings and most weekends. Please only apply if this work pattern is suitable for you.

This position would not suit someone who is not fully flexible, unfortunately.

The successful applicant will be required to serve customers in our bakery and at our checkouts. You will also be required to handle cash, restock shelves, deal with merchandise, provide excellent customer service and work at our busy hot food counter. You will be required to work on your own at times and give instructions to other members of staff.

You will also be required to serve Post Office customers. To do so, you will have to pass a stringent Post Office background check. Previous Post Office experience is desirable. However, full training will be provided.

A willingness to work within a team and learn new skills is essential.

Salary: £9.00-£11.03 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ballingry: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
