General Assistant

We're looking for fun, friendly film-fans to join the Parkway team.

Parkway Entertainment Company Ltd. was founded in 1983, by Gerald Parkes and his wife Denise. The business has always been fiercely independent, seeking to show the widest range of films and events in a genuinely welcoming environment.

The business has grown to be one of the most successful independent cinema operations in the country, with cinemas in Cleethorpes, Louth, Barnsley, Beverley, and Workington, Cumbria.

Our General Assistants are the stars of the show, and work in every area of the cinema with a passion to deliver the highest quality customer service.

Your role is to ensure our audiences have a great time, whether you’re helping with tickets, food & drink, serving in the bar or helping keep everything clean and tidy between film showings. You could find yourself joining in with a children’s birthday party, helping set-up for a private hire event or even making our home-made popcorn.

You’ll be confident and enthusiastic, and (most important of all) thrive in a customer-focused environment, and deliver fabulous customer service. No previous experience is necessary, as full training and support will be given - it’s personality that counts!

You’ll need to be available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and you must be at least 16 years old and have left school to work for us.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £7.80-£11.00 per hour
