Role Overview & Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual who would like to join Healthy Young Minds Service. You will be joining a vibrant, established and well-trained multi-disciplinary team where values are based on high quality care and delivery, which is integral to all decision making. This role will be to support multi - disciplinary HYMs Team including direct, indirect work and various research & development projects.

To undertake clearly defined clinical tasks, such as observations, patient/ parent interviews, surveys/feedback and low level clinical work with children and young people/ and or as well as with families under closely monitored supervision, within the level of own competence and under supervision.

  • To collect data for research and audit purposes.
  • To develop and maintain database of collected data, and undertake appropriate statistical analyses.
  • To keep up to date and accurate records of treatment provided.
  • To maintain test equipment/materials and other clerical support duties as required.
  • To maintain patient records and other paperwork relating to patient care.
  • To be aware of and comply with the Child & Adolescent Unit and Trust’s operational and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • To have responsibility for the Health, Safety and Welfare of self and others in the working environment, and follow safe working practices and to comply at all times with the Trust’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • To ensure confidentiality on all matters relating to patients and information obtained during the course of employment, and not release such information to anyone else other than those acting in an official capacity.
  • To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibility and scale of the Post.
  • To participate in the Trust’s staff development and performance review schedule.
