About the service user
A is a happy 9 year old boy who has a diagnosis of Downs Syndrome a slight hearing impairment and sensory processing disorder.
A enjoys going to the park, singing, playing with his toys and his Ipad.
Hours and rate of Pay
Casual hours to be used in school holidays and occasional weekends paid at £15 per hour
Enhanced DBS clearance is essential
What you would be doing
You will be building trust with A with a view to accessing the community for fun activities.
The person I would like
Experience of supporting others with a disability would be great but is not essential, a willingness to commit and learn is essential. This family are looking for someone who is reliable and friendly someone who is willing to be interactive and encouraging to develop and improve skills.
