This is a temporary to permanent role, which will see you become part of a hard working & friendly team. Earning £10 per hour initially, rising to £10.42 per hour from April. You will also get 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. There are two Swindon based locations we will be supporting, therefore looking for multiple candidates.

Day to Day Duties

One day is never the same as the next with this client as the goods they store and deliver are so varied. Typically, the main duties of your role will be to assist with the picking & packing of goods ready for dispatch. The goods can range from a small item packed in a box, to a large & heavy item that could weigh over 500kg. Other aspects of the role will include the loading and unloading of trailers, allocating good to locations within the warehouse, and liaising with the transport teams to ensure the correct goods are ready for the vehicles.

Essential Skills

Essential skills for this role are to be a team player with a hard working attitude. Able to work as part of a team and also under your own initiative are key for this position.

Desirable Experience

Experience of using counterbalance and reach forklifts would be ideal (in-house training or expired licences will be accepted).

What training is provided?

Site assesment will be completed on your first day. Additional on the job training will be completed to learn the warehouse scanning systems.
