Postal Worker

ROYAL MAIL VARIOUS LOCATIONS 5 SHIFTS PER WEEK £13.37PH IMMEDIATE STARTS

We are urgently recruiting postal workers for various Royal Mail depots throughout Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.

You'll start your day for an hour or so in the local delivery office, sorting the mail for your route, before going out on your rounds. You'll be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries , this role can be a combination of post and parcel deliveries meaning you could be delivering letters on foot or parcels in a van. You must be prepared to do both.

Upbeat and self-motivated, you'll be as happy working alone as you will be working as part of a team and getting to know the different people on your round.
You'll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.
We deliver post and parcels come rain or shine, so we're looking for people who like being outdoors whatever the weather, you'll also be someone who likes the idea of doing a job that will help you keep fit.
A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address), with no more than six penalty points is essential, but a clean licence is preferred.

Available Shifts:

Amptil 0730 Starts
Bedford 1100 starts
Bedford 0815 starts
Bedford 0800 starts
Bletchley 1130 starts
Brinklow 1300 starts
Newport Pagnell 0800 starts
Kiln Farm 1000 starts

Each shift will consist of 6-8 hours per day.
You will be working 5-6 shifts per week out of 7 days, however, you must work at least 1 shift at the weekend.
