Role Overview & Responsibilities
Pharmacy@QEHB Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary company of University Hospitals Birmingham, which was established in 2011. We provide a pharmacy service for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) and Heartlands Hospital Birmingham (BHH).
We provide a service to the out-patients and in-patients, due to be discharged, at both hospitals and operate in a manner akin to a community pharmacy
We are currently recruiting for pharmacy counter assistants to join our teams at each of the two sites. The role would involve greeting patients and over the counter medicines in the Outpatient Pharmacy, and administration on the prescription tracking system for patients being discharged from a ward via the Discharge Pharmacy.
